Now
What am I doing now? Well, as last recorded on 6/19/2026...
OH... I last wrote and updated for this in November.

Pressure can be a second wind or a cyclical hell. Not an update on the best of terms, but c'est la vie, hay que morir, and all that—I keep going. Wild how the feeling of being trapped doesn't go away as an adult despite the image of adulthood being freedom. Big crock of bullshiiit. Not much I can do right now besides blowing up Frank Horrigan in Fallout 2 about it. Bye bozo.
I'm on the search for a different job. I don't hate my current one, but I really, really want to get out of this town. I've been stuck here too long. It's a very sobering thing in this day and age because unless you're lucky a lot of stuff seems to slip through your fingers. It was easier for me to get a job in high school despite having little to no experience. The job market is that bad lmao, and a bunch of people in the world are terrorized by the USA more than ever!
One of the things I had to look forward to was getting this Upchuck shirt in. One of the ways I interpret the imagery of vocalist KT's bleeding head referenced from the Sense Yourself album cover is a release, a form of catharsis. I.E. "sensing yourself" by releasing the pressure valve and finally expressing deep-seated troubles while it gushes all out for someone to see. The improptu of audience members by a freak occurrence causing a metal cart to clip KT adds another layer. No one fully expects a bloody river rolling down, but damn, take the moment if you have it then record it! Give a listen to the the album by the way; it's killer.
I don't do it as much anymore since the equipment is prohibitively expensive, but one of my other now and then passions is photography. I've been meaning to get a lightbox put together. Meanwhile enjoy some photos of these two nerds: Seaspray and Glyph. Click to view in higher resolution in a new tab!

I don't have the foam core boards cut out yet for the box though couldn't help myself from trying them out (albeit in a crude fashion). I don't have a proper DSLR camera like I did at my course in uni, so my phone camera has been serving me well provided that I don't use the default camera app. You should get the Open Camera app by the way, good stuff.
Yeah... They usually don't tell you photography has an element of bullshitting to it. You can use this to your advantage, or you can be one of those people who misrepresents their wildlife photography with punched up saturation and slap on ugly vignettes.
This part was longer, but whinging on and on is not much help. I've been chipping in to efforts like Sameer Project and Sudan Funds when I can. I'd appreciate it too if you could chip in. No obligation put onto you, but it'd really help to give people some relief during a hard time.
Things will get better, but fuck is it a pain to work up to getting there.
